Bedroom walls and bathroom floors

We took the wall off Lily's crib today.  She now has a 'big girl' bed.   It was the result of a contentious bedtime.  She climbed over the side, and I caught her enough to break the fall.  Not even a bump on the head, but it was scary enough to prompt us to remove the wall.

So far, on this first night, she only fell out of bed once (onto a well cushioned floor, all but 4 inches below the bed).   She moves around the bed a lot, so those cushions will probably be there for a while.

Even before this occurred, it was an eventful day for her.  It was the first time she went at the potty.   For a while she has been going to the potty, but has refused to pull down her diaper.   It's not good to rush this stuff, so we are fine with her sitting on the potty in a diaper.

Today, she actually pulled down the diaper, and....nothing happened.   Actually, something did happen, but it was after she was done sitting on the potty, while she was examining the empty bowl and before she pulled up her diaper.   The good thing was that the mess was on the bathroom tile and my reaction was (Aspergian) stoic.  I praised her for coming close (it was only two feet away), offered a friendly description of what the desired outcome would be, cleaned it up and disinfected.
