I've been home with Nathaniel for over a week now. In general, he is a very good baby - calm, even tempered and a good eater, pooper and sleeper. Yesterday was a different story. He was awake all day and fussed the majority of the time. Hopefully it was just a temporary thing. In fact, I might be the culprit myself. We both slept in till noon and then our whole schedule was thrown off for the rest of the day.
Today is going well so far. We are getting ready to make our first trip out by ourselves. We are venturing to the exciting destination of Wal-mart for, you guessed it, newborn diapers!! The pack I bought on Saturday is almost gone already. Like I said, the kid can poop!
What I'm nervous about is tomorrow, which will be my first day taking care of both kids by myself, all day. At least I'll be able to drive and get us out of the house when needed. Also, the weather is supposed to be gorgeous - 70 degrees and sunny - so we'll be able to take a walk and play outside. Hopefully I can keep Lily the active toddler entertained all day.
